Workplace pensions workshops - for employers
The workshops are designed to help your employees understand the workplace pension that the company has set up for them.
Using the company’s workplace pension scheme as the starting point I will explain how pension savings build over time, where and how their money is invested and what inpact their money is having on the world around them.
What the session will cover
how to find the current value of their pension
what that amount could mean for them in retirement
where the money in the company pension is invested
the huge impact pension investments can have on climate, nature and the wider economy
what investment options are available within the scheme
Workshop format
Workshops are delivered live usually online or occasionally in person and typically last 60 - 90 minutes. Time is included for questions with follow up resources provided. The session can be recorded so those who missed it can watch afterwards.
How to run a workshop
Workshops are usually arranged as an internal learning session.
A typical process would be:
HR schedules a 90 minute session
employees receive an internal invitation
the workshop is most likely delivered online
a recording can be shared afterwards for anyone unable to attend
Example internal invitation
Understanding your workplace pension
The company is running a 90 minute webinar with pension specialist Joanna Coull to explain just exactly how the company workplace pension works and what it means for you.
The session will cover:
how to check the current size of your pension pot
what level of income that could generate when you retire
where your money is invested and what impact it is having on the environment
what personal choices you have within the pension scheme as to where your money is invested
There will be time for questions during the session and a recording will be available afterwards for anyone not able to attend.
